The Ministry of Health is a government department which is responsible for management and
coordination of the health sector in the country. Its vision is to ensure that eMaswati live healthy,
productive, long, fulfilling, and responsible lives. This, the ministry guarantees by ensuring
existence of an efficient, equitable and client-centred health system with a goal of attaining
universal health coverage related to defined health services. The ministry has a decentralized
administrative and service provision structure which is comprised of national, sub-national and
community-based entities.
